Who We Regulate - BIDCOS

The Idaho Business and Industrial Development Corporation Act authorizes the formation of business and industrial development corporations (BIDCOs) to provide financing and management assistance to new or expanding companies. Working closely with the Small Business Administration, other federal financial assistance programs, local economic development organizations, and traditional commercial lenders, BIDCOs are licensed to increase the level and quality of financial services available to the small business community in Idaho. Funding and management assistance provided by Idaho-licensed BIDCOs benefits the citizens of Idaho by supporting business formation and helping the growth of existing small businesses – both of which strengthen the overall economy of the State of Idaho.
